Machintel acquires Nathan Ark Software Pvt. Ltd.

Machintel has recently acquired Nathan Ark Software Pvt. Ltd. (NASPL) in India to do offshore software development for international clients. Earlier this year, in July, Machintel had announced its plan to open its office in India. This announcement is now followed by Machintel’s acquisition of NASPL. 

NASPL is a private limited company located in Pune and incorporated in 1998.  NASPL has been involved with Machintel from the time of its incorporation and has sub-contracted projects from Machintel earlier.  With the decision to take an ownership position in NASPL, this will strengthen Machintel's ability to deliver offshore services to its international clients.

Machintel has been developing and deploying end-to-end technology and business solutions for companies and small businesses around the world since 1997. To increase their offshore development activities, they have acquired the Nathan Ark Software Private Limited (NASPL) company in India. Through NASPL, Machintel has setup a development center in Pune, India that will develop products and solutions exclusively for Machintel.

Mark Choudhari, one of the directors of Machintel, says “The favorable labor conditions in India and the economic advantages of offshore development here will help increase profitability.”

Machintel announces planned launch of ASP in May 2000.

Machintel becomes an application service provider (ASP) in May when it launches it’s own web-based data management application for small-to mid-sized businesses and organizations.

This free web application service YourWebSurvey.com will launch in April to provide users with web-database functionality to conduct online surveys and questionnaires.

YourWebSurvey.com will be a free service for registered users to create, deploy and analyze online surveys. The site will allow a user to complete an entire survey in just four simple steps. The user will also have the facility to totally customize the look and feel of his questionnaires.

Another special feature of the site is its “Survey Tips” which will provide him with information about the different kinds of surveys, the process to follow, the data collection guidelines and types of reporting styles. These tips and guidelines will prove to be useful to both, a first time surveyor, and someone who conducts surveys regularly.

“We are presently reviewing opportunities, both domestic and international, to partner with other e-business vendors and application service providers to provide development and operating resources for e-business services.”

Machintel and Nathan Ark to deliver new services

In India, Machintel Corporation and Nathan Ark Software Pvt. Ltd. (NASPL) have set up a new lab to develop software products and solutions for the Indian markets, and to deliver offshore contract services for our US clients.

NASPL will provide a complete set of end-to-end e-business solutions to other companies, organizations, and startups in India using a collaborative approach to define, design, develop, and deliver e-business products and services. NASPL has developed this collaborative approach, using best practices accumulated first-hand from best-in-class US e-business projects and through its partner company Machintel Corporation. NASPL will offer these services to domestic and international clients.

Machintel announces the launch of indicampus.com - a free portal intended for students in India. Indicampus.com will launch in April 2000.

Indicampus.com will be very useful for students who wish to take online courses. Indicampus.com provides students with a site where they can easily find information and tutorials on any subject. It will have all the study material required for schools, colleges and other competitive exams online, thereby eliminating the need for coaching classes, which are both expensive and time consuming.

Online education, using the Internet, has many advantages over the conventional methods of education. Launch of B2B eCommerce site in July 2000.

As the demand for global e-business explodes, Machintel announces they will be assisting in the development of Indibiz.com for an Indian business house - a business to business e-commerce site for small-to mid-sized businesses in India.

Machintel proposes to create a site for small and medium scale industry products that will provide a low-cost effective solution that meets the customer’s needs. It will focus on providing information, order procurement services, and online transactions for low-priced, high-volume products and services.

Indibiz will launch with 100 products and services in July 2000. It will be enable users to establish a large trading community quickly without incurring large expenses, and bring together the providers of products and services with the customers that need them.

Machintel aims to create a total business-to-business e-commerce portal to provide many features by which the customer as well as the supplier will get an efficient and reliable means for doing transactions.
